In 1975 Marhum Panakkad Pookoya Thangal laid the foundation stone for the main block of our orphanage building. The function was presided with the presence of honorable speaker of legislative assembly Mr.M.Moydeen Kutty Hajiyar.In the same year 7 students were admitted in the orphanage and operations of orphanage was started. Hon. Panakkad Sayed Mohammed Ali Shihab Thangal registered a student in orphanage and inaugurated the orphanage. The building work was completed in the year 1977 and registered under state society welfare department .The new building was started with the permission and approval of orphanage control board. In 1991 separate section for girls was started. All the regulations were followed in building and other facilities. In total of 300 inmates are residing and studying in our orphanage today. In spite of our orphanage being one of the best in the district participate in the arts and sports events and have won overall championship many years. Students who are willing to study after 10th standard are sent for higher studies according to their tastes and capabilities +1 and +2,T.T.I,Arabic college which are available in our campus and other courses like nursing, polytechnic college are acquired from other campus. Our trust also helps to its extent in rehabilitation and marriage of orphan inmates. We set an example to others by being in the forefront of charity and rehabilitation of orphans.
