The service of the orphanage was extended to girls too. During 1992, an orphanage for girls, named FAZFARI ORPHANAGE FOR GIRLS PADINHATTUMMURI, was started. It is recognized and approved by Board of control for orphanages and charitable homes, Govt. of Kerala as Recognition No. 557/94 and has received Grant-in-Aid from the Govt. of Kerala. The inmates include those from nearby states such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka also. All accommodation including boarding and lodging facilities are made available. All inmates of the orphanage are sent to schools, Colleges and Technical Training Centre for their studies. Presently 100 inmates are staying here.
